Resolution Staffing Inc. is working in partnership with a local health unit to hire Registered Practical Nurses to work as Immunization Nurses providing vaccinations for COVID-19.

The Immunization Nurses will be expected to work independently as well as a part of a team to develop new procedures, make changes to existing methods, and come up with solutions to the established practices.

As an Immunization Nurse you will be reporting to the Director and Managers, as well as the CDC Nurse and the organizers coordinating the clinic to provide immunizations at health unit clinics, as well as a variety of locations. You will be expected to work with members of the public to ensure access to provincially funded vaccines, promote immunization, consult, and provide education and health promotion. These positions involves travel and variations of the working day.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate documentation in files and program records

· Produce program and administrative reports, and share information with team members during meetings

· Works in accordance with the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the workplace

· Consulting with the Chief Nursing Officer

· Recommends to Health Protection Management, the purchase of equipment, supplies and materials necessary

· Uses clinical nursing skills as required

· Participates in the planning, organizing, implementation and evaluation of a variety of immunization clinics

· Works in a safe manner as required by Occupation Health and Safety legislation

· Performs work in an environment with occasional exposure to major disagreeable conditions or hazards

· Does light physical activity of long duration and medium physical activity in an intermediate duration

Additional Responsibilities may include:

· Assess Covid-19 signs and symptoms, as well as underlying health conditions

· Discuss symptom onset to determine the window period for contact exposure risk

· Inquire about previous activities to identify who may have been exposed

· Elicit information on close contacts, and assess support needs to maintain health and compliance during self-isolation

· Facilitate testing and referral to healthcare services

· Provide recommendations for self-isolation and review of daily monitoring procedures

· Record data in provincial case and contact management system

Requirements:

· Member of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and is in good standing – Proof required

· Registered Practical Nurses Diploma

· Education program for immunizations is an asset

· Maintains knowledge and follows CNO guidelines and Standard of Practice

· Supports education by attending continuing education workshops

· Experience in administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections

· Good interpersonal and organizational skills

· Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle

· Proof of immunizations required

· Current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check including vulnerable sector

· Current CPR/First Aid (HCP level) or willingness to be certified

We are looking for Production Operators who have had prior manufacturing experience, and preference will be given to candidates with previous plastics and extrusion experience.

The Quality Auditor is accountable and responsible to the Quality Department. The main tasks are supporting production through real time auditing of processes, products and procedures and perform routine laboratory testing as required by outside inspectors, customers, engineering and marketing.

Job Responsibilities:
*Inspect, tag, complete the proper paper work and report any non-conformance's found on production materials and parts.
*Carries out routine laboratory tests, such as physical tests of compounds, electrical tests of products, flame tests, deformation tests, fiber optic testing, etc.
*Verify gauges and fixtures in production work areas are calibrated and meet calibration requirements per CSA/UL standards and report non-conformance to *Quality Supervisor
*Conduct checks and inspections per control plan and report non conformance's immediately to the Quality Supervisor and Production Supervisory team.
*Coordinates with Engineering and Manufacturing functions to propose changes which eliminate quality problems caused by substandard products.
*Make recommendations to supervisors/team leaders for retraining based on quality concerns from operators
*Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
*College Degree or Equivalent
*3-5 years of manufacturing experience
*Previous experience in production reporting (scrap, rework, labeling, etc)
*Must be able to work rotating continental shifts
*Good communication and written skills
*Ability to work gauges, calipers and micrometers
*Ability to organize, schedule, and meet deadlines
*Able to lift 35 lbs
