Work in federal government during emergency preparedness developments in BC kicked started my studies in Occupational Health and Safety (1980); attainment of the CRSP designation and appointment as the Northern BC H&S Officer for MOT. Although short lived due to province wide layoffs I managed to impart a solid commitment to workplace safety and respect of highway crews from 100 mile to Prince Rupert. A broad spectrum of career paths has ensured my ability to assist many in the past whom thought it could not be done.
