He is a graduate of Project SEARCH Haldimand, who is now working at his new cleaning job at Community Living Haldimand. ✨

Leap was able to assist him in getting a new cleaning cart thanks to job seeker supports to keep his cleaning supplies more organized! As you can see in the picture, he loves it.

Paul had years of experience in construction and heavy equipment, but changing industry requirements made it difficult to find steady work. After connecting with Leap Employment Services, completing our Power of Possible program, and accessing Better Jobs Ontario funding, he earned the credentials he needed to launch a new chapter.

Today, Paul has a permanent, full-time union position as a Heavy Equipment Operator, earning year-round stability and doing work he loves.

On June 23rd, we celebrated the graduation of our Project SEARCH Class of 2026!🎓

Over the past year, these remarkable individuals have demonstrated incredible resilience, determination, and growth. They have stepped outside of their comfort zones, embraced new challenges, developed valuable workplace skills, and gained the confidence needed to pursue meaningful employment opportunities in their communities.

Graduation marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of an exciting new journey. We are incredibly proud of everything these graduates have accomplished and look forward to seeing all they will achieve in the future.

A sincere thank you to the Grand Erie District School Board and Haldimand War Memorial Hospital for their ongoing partnership and commitment to creating inclusive opportunities for students to learn, grow, and succeed. Together, we are helping build pathways to employment and brighter futures.
