We are looking for up to two (2) motivated business and socially minded students to work as Student Consultants in a part-time contract role to support social enterprises across the Kootenay region. The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship is hiring a Water Authorizations Co-op Student (Existing Use Groundwater) for an 8-month term (September 2026 – April 2027) based in Prince George or Smithers. The position pays $29.15/hour and offers valuable experience in water management, environmental regulation, GIS, data management, and public service.

This is a great opportunity for students in Environmental Science, Resource Management, Biology, GIS, Forestry, Agrology, and related programs who are interested in water resources and environmental stewardship.

Number of Openings: 1
8 month term starting in September 2026
$29.15/hour and 35 hours per week
Must sit in Prince George or Smithers (no moving expenses)
