- Don’t assume no response means no interest; most of the time, it just means things are still moving on the employer’s side. Give it about 5–10 business days before reaching out so your message feels timely, not rushed.
- When you do follow up, keep it short, polite, and professional. No need to over-explain or overthink it. A simple check-in goes a long way.
