Job Description: Electricians Traveling to Elkford Valley, BC

As an electrician, you will play a crucial role in coordinating construction activities, ensuring safety standards are met, and installing electrical components of industrial equipment. You will work alongside a team of professionals, including apprentices, to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate construction activities according to priorities and plans
- Allocate general and daily responsibilities to team members
- Supervise and train trades apprentices
- Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Resolve problems as they arise
- Report progress daily to your manager
- Install electrical components of industrial equipment
- Proficiently install supports and raceways (Cable tray, Conduit, etc.)
- Work as a team member to complete projects
- Enforce safety procedures and meet electrical codes
- Make decisions based on technical documents
- Perform quality testing and inspections
- Have knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a successful foreman on industrial construction projects
- In-depth knowledge and experience with prefabricated skid buildings, MCC buildings, E-Houses, and process buildings
- Understanding of electrical systems and ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Effective communication and reporting abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and stamina
- High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade

1 Fabricate, assemble and install project components following applicable design drawings, BOMs, client specifications, regulatory codes, and industry/trade best practices
2 Only use current, approved versions of drawings, design specifications, and applicable quality forms/documents
3 Always verify project materials against approved drawings/BOMs/specifications to ensure correct part # and product characteristics before installation
4 Ensure all workmanship meets established quality standards and immediately report all sub-standard work, component discrepancies or non-conformances to supervisor
5 Consult supervisor when unclear about any design/construction specification or quality policy/procedure
6 Complete project-specific design layouts and material take-offs as requested
7 Submit project material requisitions as required (wire/cable, fittings, brackets, tags, etc.)
8 Ensure the effective organization, storage, handling, and traceability of project materials
9 Keep personal work area, materials, and tools clean and organized to optimize safety and productivity
10 Follow all technical, quality and safety instructions provided by project lead hands or other supervisors
11 Monitor, train and mentor junior apprentices/shophands in trade skills, techniques, and technical knowledge
12 Assist with QA inspection, testing, documentation, and recordkeeping as requested
13 Conduct all dealings with Sabre personnel, clients, or suppliers in a respectful and professional manner
14 Comply with the policies, processes and procedures of Sabre's QMS and HSE Programs
15 Assist Production Manager as requested with performance evaluation of junior apprentices
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $40.50 per hour- (Journeyman)
Apprentice salary $25-$37 hour
LOA $200 daily
Expected hours: 50-60hrs
