Meet our dear teammate at our Head Office in Calgary!
Hi, I’m Allysa! I started my journey with TIPS Personnel as a practicum student and was excited to officially join the team this year. As a junior recruiter, I’ve quickly learned that connecting the right talent with the right opportunity takes a mix of strategy, intuition, communication… and occasionally a very strong cup of coffee.
This role has given me valuable hands-on experience that’s helped strengthen both my interpersonal skills and my confidence in navigating professional challenges. One of the things I love most about TIPS Personnel is how everyday tasks somehow turn into meaningful learning experiences. I’m constantly picking up new insights—especially the importance of trusting your instincts and double-checking whether you’re muted on Teams calls.
I’m incredibly grateful for the support, mentorship, and opportunities I’ve received here, all of which continue to help me grow both personally and professionally. It’s been such a rewarding experience so far, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and contributing to the team—while doing my very best to keep my caffeine intake somewhere below “full-time espresso machine.”
