“$65 an hour?!”
I know.....let's talk about it!
At first glance it sounds outrageous.
But here’s the thing…
Fairy Helpful was never built to be the cheapest option.
It was built to be the option that helps.
When you hire Fairy Helpful, you’re not hiring someone under the table with a bottle of cleaner and a rag.
You’re hiring a fully insured, police checked business.
You’re hiring women who are paid properly.
You’re hiring people who show up when they say they will.
People who communicate.
People who care.
People who treat your home, your family and your belongings with respect.
Our $65/hour rate already includes HST and all supplies. There are no surprise charges because we believe pricing should be simple and transparent.
A lot of what we do isn’t even cleaning.
Sometimes we’re changing bedding.
Sometimes we’re organizing.
Sometimes we’re helping a senior whose family lives too far away.
Sometimes we’re putting groceries away, folding laundry, assembling furniture, tackling a to-do list, helping someone prepare for a move, or helping someone catch up after life has knocked them flat.
Life doesn’t fit neatly into categories.
Neither do we.
I’ve invested heavily into insurance because I wanted Fairy Helpful to be able to help with as much as possible.
I didn’t want to be the company that says:
“Sorry, we don’t do that.”
I wanted to be the company that says:
“Let’s see how we can help.”
The reality is that $65/hour doesn’t go into a fairy’s pocket.
It goes toward wages, vacation pay, CPP, EI, WSIB, insurance, fuel, supplies, software, bookkeeping, payroll, taxes and all the things required to run a legitimate business properly.
But more importantly, it allows us to keep showing up.
To keep helping.
To keep saying yes when life gets messy, overwhelming, unfair or just plain exhausting.
Because at the end of the day, Fairy Helpful isn’t really about cleaning.
It’s about making life a little easier.
