Since beginning their first emergency contracts with us in 2024, Kelly and Kristen have become two of our most trusted and sought-after nurses.

Kristen has brought her skills and adaptability to emergency departments across Alberta, British Columbia, and the Yukon, while Kelly has completed successful assignments in Nova Scotia and the Yukon. 💙

The pair first met while working together in Dawson City, Yukon, last year, and quickly became close friends. Today, they're once again sharing an assignment; this time in Watson Lake, Yukon!

Not all travel contracts are created equal. Here's what to clarify before you accept:

→ What does housing and travel support actually look like?
→ What are the overtime and on-call expectations?
→ Is there an orientation period, or do you hit the ground running?
→ What's the process if something isn't working mid-assignment?
→ Who is your point of contact from start to finish?

A good agency will have clear, honest answers to all of these; we do!

"One of my favourite nursing memories is when I encouraged a palliating patient to snuggle and nap with her Mom. I got them comfy and tucked in. The daughter then thanked me with tears in her eyes and said that Mom had snuggled her like this as a child when she had trouble sleeping.
