Duke had the incredible privilege of attending the official launch of HMCS Protecteur, Canada’s newest Joint Support Ship (JSS) at Seaspan ULC Vancouver Shipyards. This vessel represents a significant milestone for the Royal Canadian Navy | Marine royale canadienne, showcasing innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to bolstering maritime capabilities.

Witnessing this launch was not only inspiring but also a testament to the tireless dedication of the shipbuilders, engineers, and support staff who made it possible. Their unwavering commitment, long hours, and attention to detail ensured that this state-of-the-art vessel came to life. Their hard work deserves immense recognition.

The Protecteur—designed to provide critical at-sea support to our Navy—is a reflection of Canadian ingenuity and the power of teamwork. This launch reinforces the importance of strong maritime infrastructure for ensuring safety, security, and operational readiness both at home and abroad.

• P.Eng designation.

Reporting to the VP Finance & CFO, the Project Controller will provide financial support to the Project and Finance teams. Full time, permanent, onsite role out of Hamilton, ON.
This is a great opportunity for a capable individual to support the ex*****on of a large project and grow with the company!

YOU HAVE:
-The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Strong computer and MS Excel skills (using lookups and Pivot Tables).
-Experience with the Sage, MS Dynamics/Navision and ADP systems are definite assets.
-Experience with client relationship building and communication abilities.
-Experience building collaborative working relationships within the team and across the company.
