Our community is hurting right now.
Many children, youth, families, and caring adults in our community may be carrying heavy feelings today, sadness, worry, confusion, fear, or simply not knowing what to say.

At Every Kid in Our Community, we believe every child and youth deserves to feel safe, cared for, valued, and connected. In difficult moments, community matters even more.

Today take the time to check in with one another, reach out to a young person, make time for conversations and be present. We all can listen without needing to have all the answers.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do is remind people they are not alone.

To the children and youth in our community: there are people who care deeply about you and want to support you through hard moments.

Our hearts are with everyone impacted.

Are you a student in Brockville or the surrounding area looking for a summer job in 2026? Canada Summer Jobs is getting ready to offer up to 100,000 paid summer jobs—and many are right here in our community.

Canada Summer Jobs 2026 focuses on supporting Brockville‑area youth who may face barriers to employment, including:
