We are very excited to share that this morning, we have started the journey to rewrite "HR Practices of Canada" for supporting Newcomers and International Student Community reach their career goals in Canada.
Four senior Human Resources professionals, very compassionate, about "Immigrant Inclusion" shared their knowledge with the newcomer community.

Here are key highlights from the session
1. Build your Social Capital by effective networking
2. In Canada most companies have 500 or less employees. Going for large employers is equal to getting into high competition
3. Coffee chats helps in understanding the job market and build network
4. Communication is the key to success, particularly understanding the local norms
5. Get Mentors
6. Challenge yourself and more importantly invest in yourself
7. Take Risks
8. There are lots of jobs open in customer services, trade and warehouses
9. While optimizing your resumes, add information about your previous employers by sharing their website.
