Airdrie Arts & Culture Council The AACC will support the needs of artists, arts organizations and culture programmers in Airdrie.

The purpose of the Airdrie Arts and Culture Council (AACC) is to bring together local artists, culture programmers and experts in creative industries to support arts and culture in the community. Our Objective is to provide the Airdrie arts and culture community a central hub and advocate, the AACC will support the needs of artists, arts organizations and culture programmers in Airdrie, while gene

rating positive impacts on the local economy and the community’s social well-being. Established in April 2022 the Arts Council Assessment Committee (ACAC), an ad hoc committee of the City of Airdrie, to bring forward recommendations for the development of an arts and culture council for the citizens of Airdrie. The ACAC received seed funding from the City to establish an independent arts society. The next steps are to determine a terms of reference for the AACC and recruit members for the AACC Board of Directors.
