Bulgarian crews selected by SAFWAT BG fully comply with international STCW’ 95 standards and are carefully checked by the Minimum Safe Manning Document for each estimated Vessel. Our seafarers can easily fly to different destinations without any specific travel arrangements, as they are European Union citizens.

URGENT POSITION FOR ETO (11 802$) / BACK DECK ON PIPE LAYER OFFSHORE - JOINING END NOVEMBER

SAFWAT BG LTD C/O OUR PRINCIPAL SEEKING FOR ETO (III/6 COC) FOR OFFSHORE VESSEL UNDER MALAYSIAN PROJECT.

Vessel’s details: Fast-transit, dynamically positioned (DP 2) vessel with modern,
efficient and versatile flexible and umbilical lay system; DNV 1A1, DYNPOS-AUTR, EO, DK (+), CLEAN, COMF-V(3) CARGO SHIP, NAUT-OSV(A), HELIDK; vessel built: 2015.

Requirements: Proven experience on offshore vessels is highly preferred, also any previous experience working on back deck would be preferable. DP Maintenance; valid HV, HUET/BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS certs are must.

Duration of contract: 6 weeks (rotation hereafter – subject to positive appraisal)

Wages: 11 802$ per month during on board

SAFWAT BG LTD C/O OUR PRINCIPAL URGENTLY SEEKING FOR CHIEF ENGINEER & CHIEF OFFICER FOR OFFSHORE Subsea Rock Installation (SRI) VESSELS FLYING UNDER NETHERLAND FLAG.

Requirements:

Chief Officer with extensive previous experience in rockdumping (must be documented in DP logbook)

Chief Officer to be experienced with Bigger engines, Big HPU packs, Plenty of sensors. Expereince on shuttle tanker, big Subsea, Construction, Fallpipe, ROV vessels could be considered. DP Maintenance certification for Engine Officers is a must.

Proven experience on SRI vessels is highly preferred

CHIEF ENGINEER: USD 18000-21000 per month when onboard (depending on experience)

CHIEF OFFICER: USD 15000-18500 per month when onboard (depending on experience)

*Taxes and social security covered by the Client.

Successful candidate (CO and CE) must be ready to pass B2 CEFR for UK skilled worker visa.

🚢 ABOUT THE FLEET & THE ROLE:
• Modern dry fleet of 25 Bulk and Container vessels trading worldwide.
• 4 Brand Newbuilding Bulk Carriers coming into service in 2027/2028.
• Work in a multinational environment with a strictly promoted “no-blame” safety policy.

💰 COMPENSATIONS & BENEFITS (Gross Wages):
• 1st contract (5-6 months): $600 / €500 per month (potentially after your 3rd year of studies).
• 2nd contract (5-6 months): Up to $950 / €825 per month (depending on your graduation status and STCW COPs).
• ERASMUS program funding is additionally applicable for joining cadets!
• Full ITF agreements covering all crew members across the NORD fleet.

SAFWAT BG LTD C/O REEDEREI NORD GMBH IS SEEKING TO EMPLOY EU CADETS WHICH WILL GRADUATE NAVAL ACADEMY & TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF VARNA: DECK, ENGINE AND ELECTRICAL FOR DRY FLEET OF 25 BULK AND CONTAINER VESSELS.

JOINING DATES ARE AT THE END OF MARCH 2027 & AT THE BEGGING OF APRIL 2027.

VESSEL DETAILS:

4 Newbuilding Bulk Carrier vessels comming in 2027/2028

10 Bulk Carrier vessels (2013 – 2017) with DWT from 38 000 to 62 000

15 Container vessels (2014 – 2025) with TEU capacity of 1700 to 2500

GROSS WAGES:

1st contract (5 or 6 months): $ 600/€ 500 month – potentially after 3rd year of graduation in Naval Academy or Technical University of Varna

2nd contract (5 or 6 months): $ 700/€ 600 month – potentially after 4th year of graduation in Naval Academy or Technical University of Varna

2nd contract (5 or 6 months) holding STCW A-II/4 (AB COP) or A-III/4 (MTM COP): $ 815/€ 700 month – potentially after 4th year of graduation in Naval Academy or Technical University of Varna

2nd contract (5 or 6 months) holding STCW A-II/7 (Sh. Electrician COP) or A-II/6 (ETO COC): $ 950/€ 825 month – potentially after 4th year of graduation in Naval Academy or Technical University of Varna

ERASMUS program is additionaly applicable for each joining Cadet. ITF agreements are covering all crew on NORD vessels.

4 – 8 weeks on board as promotion cadet (to familiarize with the vessel)
=>promotion to 3/O or 4/E or JrETO
Prior Joining

Cadet letter provided from NORD which explains details about travelling to the vessel and your first days on board.

During your stay on board

Your designated shipboard training officer (C/O or 2/E) arranges your training and working plan and monitors your progress as well as your entries in the Training Record Book. Aside form the officers also the ratings participate on your Day-to-Day Training.

After signing off

Please send us your Feed-back about your contract using the cadet feedback form. Based on your performance during your first contract and next readiness date we plan your next assignment.
