Job Context :
The Hostel Superintendent of Kumudini Nursing College, is a full-time regular position and based at Mirzapur, Tangail. This position plays an important role in the management of the hostel. The hostel superintendent has to ensure smooth operations and maintenance of all facilities and that all the students are provided with the best experience and service. The main responsibilities include, supervising the quality of food served in the hostels, ensuring strict discipline among students and staff of the hostels, supervision of proper housekeeping, maintenance of safety and security, communication with guardians of students when needed etc. The position reports directly to the Principal of Nursing College in case any indiscipline or misbehavior by the students.
Job Responsibilities
Providing ideal care by way, counseling and high standards of safety and livability in the hostel.
Maintaining a good rapport with students, their families, Nursing College and good relations with Kumudini management for better services.
Monitor the quality of food being provided in the hostel.
Assist to facilitate the holistic development of students -physical, mental, social and intellectual.
Ensure safety and security of all students at all times.
Ensure maintenance of discipline in and around the Hostel.
Ensure the teaching to students.
Ensure housekeeping and cleaning of the premises.
Ensure no damage takes place to the hostel assets and properties, and furniture and fittings are timely repaired and hostel block is properly maintained.
Responsible for addressing medical/social and personal emergencies of all students.
Update student information hostel software day-by-day.
Any other task assigned by management as and when required.

Educational Requirements
1.Diploma/ BSc in Nursing
2.MPH
Additional Requirements
Age 40 to 55 years
Diploma in Nursing with 10 years of experience or BSc in Nursing with 5 years of experience.
