Position: Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Vendor Onboarding & Management
Responsibilities:
• Drive the achievement of sales targets by sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding new vendors and their product lines.
• Lead commercial negotiations with vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable contract terms, and long-term value.
• Ensure all vendor documentation is accurate, complete, and fully compliant with applicable VAT, Tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential vendors and assess industry trends to inform sourcing strategies.
• Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and enhance overall value.
• Communicate vendor roles, responsibilities, and expectations clearly, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives.
• Implement vendor selection and evaluation processes to improve product offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
• Monitor sales and inventory data to identify high-demand products and make informed procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and seamless onboarding of vendors into existing systems and processes.
• Act as the key liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders, managing communication, conflict resolution, and issue escalation.
• Define and enforce vendor performance metrics; regularly review and recommend improvements to ensure operational efficiency.
• Coordinate all aspects of vendor management, including onboarding, training, compliance tracking, and documentation.
• Formulate clear business guidelines and service-level expectations for vendors, with a focus on quality, delivery timelines, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all products delivered by vendors undergo necessary checks and meet defined quality assurance standards before acceptance.
• Work closely with relevant departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, Tech, QA) to streamline workflows and automate repetitive vendor management processes.
• Maintain up-to-date vendor records, ensuring all data is accurate, auditable, and readily available for internal and external compliance checks.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Business Administration; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in vendor onboarding, procurement, or vendor relationship management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience with vendor performance evaluation and quality assurance processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
