Your Role: Manager

Role Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic quality assurance framework that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of robust quality control systems across all manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the quality control processes at each stage of production, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing.
- Ensure that all products meet the specified quality standards before they are transferred to the Central Distribution center.
- Lead the organization in preparing for and successfully passing quality audits, both internal and external.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and optimizing the QA process.
- Collaborate with finance, production and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes impacting quality assurance.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address any non-compliance or quality issues.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor quality performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements in the supply chain.
- Implement quality assurance measures that enhance the customer experience and product reliability.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the QA department.
Qualifications that are required and preferred:
- The incumbent for this position requires to have 4 years bachelor’s degree, preferably in Leather Technology / Footwear Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance lead role within the footwear, garments industry or similar industry.
