Assistant Manager – HR (People & Culture)

Job Summary:
As-Sunnah Foundation is looking for an energetic, driven, and high-potential HR professional (around 4–5 years of work experience) ready to step into a hands-on leadership role.
This is not a routine HR position. We need a builder—someone who can balance action with judgement to handle real challenges and continuously improve both systems and people. You will work closely with leadership to shape people practices, strengthen long-term sustainability, and support the foundation’s mission through practical, ethical, and highly efficient HR initiatives. If you are proactive, principled, and serious about doing meaningful work, this role offers the opportunity to grow into a future HR leader.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Culture Building
🔷 Strengthen performance systems to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
🔷 Contribute to talent development, succession planning, and long-term retention strategies.
🔷 Global & Local Integration: Research world-wide culture studies to implement best practices while experimenting with and exploring locally relevant solutions.
🔷 Actively participate in building and reinforcing a value-driven organizational culture through real, sustainable actions.
Leadership, Governance & Collaboration
🔷 Policy & Governance: Develop and implement HR policies and governance frameworks that ensure organizational sustainability.
🔷 Fund Optimization: Align HR operations to ensure administrative efficiency, allowing for maximum donor fund distribution to beneficiaries.
🔷 Take ownership of HR initiatives and guide team members in ex*****on with maturity and clarity.
🔷 Work closely with department heads to align HR support with operational needs.
Data-Driven HR Practices
🔷 Analyze HR data (performance, attendance, retention) to generate practical insights.
🔷 Prepare structured reports to support data-informed decision-making.
🔷 Identify gaps and recommend realistic, ethical, and actionable solutions.
Process Improvement & Automation
🔷 Continuously improve HR processes for efficiency, clarity, and scalability.
🔷 Support automation initiatives using tools like Google Sheets, reporting systems, and AI tools.
🔷 Maintain structured documentation and ensure strict compliance and process discipline.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Around 4–5 years of relevant work experience with exposure to recruitment and people management.
Proven ability to take ownership and handle responsibilities independently.
Strong communication skills with the ability to guide, influence, and handle difficult conversations.
Experimental Mindset: A willingness to explore, experiment, and iterate on HR processes rather than sticking to the status quo.
Experience with HR tools, reporting systems, and modern AI tools to improve productivity.
Clear alignment with value-driven work and organizational principles.
Educational Background
🔷 A background in HRM is preferred, but we value competence over credentials.

What We Offer
Salary: 75,000++ BDT/month.
