Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits Management (non-tech)
This international leading nonprofit organization is on a mission to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, literacy, disease, and social justify. We operate in 10 countries across Africa and Asia.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Develop the medium and long-term compensation strategy to ensure it remains competitive in the labor market and boost employee retention and attract top talent.
-Ensure salaries are determined with equity and justice and in link with organizational Compensation Policy.
-Advice the Associate Director of Human Resources on global compensation including emerging trends, areas of risk and the overall competitiveness of the organization's global compensation and benefits packages.
-Work closely with country HR teams, finance team, and senior management team, monitor the efficacy of current payment methods and make cost-effective modifications that are consistent with compensation trends.
-Perform periodic salary reviews and review salary structures based on market benchmarking to ensure competitiveness to attract and retain competent employees.
-Ensuring compensation offerings and policies, and procedures comply with countrywide current legislation.
-Explore opportunities to standardize, simplify and automate the payroll system.
-Review the current payroll system and introduce more accurate and effective tools to the current system.
-Create methods for gathering, preparing and presenting data for the Management Board and Senior Management team.
Requirements:
-At least 7 years of experience as a compensation and benefits manager or in a related role.
-Extensive knowledge of global benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
-Experience in working with an international organization
-Experience in using payroll system/s.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
-Ability to drive results with limited time and resources.
-Ability to handle challenges in a mature way, open style of communication and focus on problem-solving.
-Knowledge of laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
-Flexible to travel internationally as per need and work in different time zones.
-Able to work in a multicultural environment.
-Absolute personal integrity, fairness and trustworthiness are essential to gain the trust of individuals at all levels of the organization.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in Excel.
-MBA or Master's Degree in HRM.
