A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a highly experienced Senior Assistant General Manager – HR & Administration to lead factory-level HR, administration, compliance, and security functions. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring workforce stability, legal compliance, operational discipline, and strong people practices in a large industrial setup.

💰 Salary Range: BDT 180,000 – 200,000 per month
Job Purpose
The Sr. AGM – HR & Administration will act as the key HR Business Partner for factory leadership, ensuring alignment between corporate HR strategies and factory operations. The role covers HR operations, manpower planning, industrial relations, compliance, administration, security, and crisis management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Leadership
* Lead end-to-end HR & Administration operations at the factory
* Partner with production and management on manpower budgeting, workforce planning, and skill requirements
* Drive discipline, attendance governance, and performance culture
* Execute HR policies, change initiatives, and organizational directives in coordination with corporate HR
Workforce Management & Employee Relations
* Develop forward-looking manpower and succession plans
* Lead, coach, and develop the factory HR & Admin team
* Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and industrial relations
* Drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
HR Operations & Payroll
* Oversee attendance management, LTO analysis, OT governance, and corrective actions
* Ensure smooth recruitment, onboarding, deployment, and separation processes
* Ensure accurate and timely payroll, wages, OT, and final settlements
Compliance, Audit & Legal Affairs
* Ensure all statutory licenses, factory compliances, certifications, and audits are up to date
* Lead internal and external compliance audits and factory walkthroughs
* Liaise with government authorities, local administration, and law enforcement
Administration, Security & Facilities
* Oversee factory administration, guest house, display center, and facility services
* Supervise security operations and access control
* Manage canteen, housekeeping, utilities, and scrap/wastage processes
HR Analytics & Reporting
* Prepare weekly and monthly HR dashboards and reports
* Use HR data (attendance, manpower cost, productivity, safety metrics) for decision-making
Crisis & Risk Management
* Lead factory HR response during emergencies such as accidents, unrest, cyclones, or natural disasters
* Ensure employee safety, welfare, and operational continuity during crisis situations
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Strong leadership experience in factory/manufacturing HR
* In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws, compliance, and industrial relations
* Proven experience handling large workforces and audits
* Ability to work under pressure and balance people management with production priorities
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
