🚜 Our Social Group Program is all about getting out, trying new things and building skills along the way. For our Wagga Wagga NDIS participants, the day was a chance to explore new interests, practise social skills, make choices and enjoy being part of the local community - with plenty of fun along the way! 🙌✨

🌟 Five successful years of Lettuce Eat! 🌟

Our Chatswood NDIS participants were back in the kitchen, putting their skills into action across every part of their pop-up restaurant – Lettuce Eat! After 12 weeks of planning and preparation, it was time to put everything they had learned into practice – from preparing and cooking meals to serving customers and working together as a team. Along the way, participants developed skills in menu planning, budgeting, shopping in our Mini Woolies Omnia, food preparation, customer service and event management.

✨ The restaurant was buzzing, and it was fantastic to see their confidence, teamwork and hard work come together on the day. Another brilliant year of Lettuce Eat! 🙌

A big thank you to the Dougherty Centre for their continued support, and to all our families, friends and community members who came along to support our participants. We hope you had a fantastic time! 🌟
