🎉 Another group of candidates have successfully completed Premier People's Conveyor Maintenance Training Program!

Over the past two days, participants have gained practical, hands-on experience working with conveyor systems, learning critical maintenance practices, safe work procedures, isolation principles, and the skills required to confidently step onto site and contribute from day one.

This program is more than just training. It's about creating pathways into the mining industry, improving workforce readiness, and helping workers build long-term careers in conveyor maintenance.

Seeing another group complete and receive their certificates is a reminder of why we continue to invest in developing people, not just filling vacancies.

We're also incredibly proud that this program has helped position Premier People as a Finalist in both: 🏆 Work Health & Safety Excellence Awards 🏆 Prospect Awards

👏 Training Complete! 👏

A huge congratulations to our latest group of candidates who have successfully completed Premier People’s 2-Day Conveyor Maintenance Training Program!

Over the two days, participants gained valuable practical skills, industry knowledge, and hands-on experience to help prepare them for opportunities in the resources sector.

One of the things we're most proud of is seeing the growth that can come from investing in people. Our trainer, Matt, actually started his journey with Premier People as a trainee in this very program. Fast forward to today, and he's now leading the training and sharing his knowledge with the next group of future workers.

Seeing someone go from trainee to trainer is what workforce development is all about, and it's a great example of the opportunities that can be created when people are given the support and training to succeed.

Well done to everyone who completed the course, and a special shout-out to Matt for how far he has come. We look forward to seeing where this next step takes our candidates!

In the mining industry, it’s easy to fall into the habit of just getting on with the job. Long days, time away, pressure on site, and the expectation to just push through.

But not everything people are carrying is visible.

At Premier People, we know that mental health is just as important as physical safety. Looking after our people means looking out for each other, both on and off site.

A quick message. A call. A simple “you alright?” and actually taking the time to listen. It doesn’t take much, but it can make a real difference.
