There is a beautiful, peaceful stretch of flat grassy PUBLIC LAND along Broger's Creek which is a magical place for a swim, a picnic or a snooze under a tree. This wonderful space is for the public to enjoy, and is easily accessible from Battys Road. Shoalhaven Council has received an application.....

Charlie is a hard-working gnome. He was involved in a nasty accident involving a mulcher, resulting in the loss of his left arm. Unfortunately his employer dismissed him without so much as a thank you for many years of faithful service. He heard about the SPGG and has been living at Broger's End for the last six months. He has been able to find meaningful work in the garden and has been particularly good at greeting visitors and helping with garden tours (see www.tastesofkangaroovalley.com.au). He awaits a prosthesis which will enable him to perform more tasks in the garden.

This is OUTRAGEOUS! This violence against innocent defenseless gnomes must STOP!! What have they done to deserve this violent treatment! They have done nothing but tend our gardens and amuse us. We must rescue our ill treated friends from this tyranny! Gardeners of the world UNITE against mistreatment of our beloved gnomes!!

This is the beautiful garden where the gnomes work, when they are ready, and to their ability, as they recover from their abuse. They are supported in their rehabilitation by senior gnomes and by some kind humans who come to stay and help out.

Gnomes rescued from violent masters and poor working conditions can rest and recover, and rebuild their self esteem at Broger's End in the lovely Kangaroo Valley.
This couple (names witheld) suffered persecution and were unable to marry according to Australian Gnome Law. They have been able to set up house and enjoy looking after the younger gnomes.
