Has a recruiter ever told you

"Don't apply on Seek, I'll represent you"

If they have, then you got ghosted I'm sorry to say - they used you as a sales tactic.

This is an actual application I received recently.

The candidate looked great.

I'll called the agency and said we had no fee approval because we were starting interviews, but if the candidate wanted to apply direct they were welcome to.

The application never came.

I'd bet the message wasn't passed on.

If a recruiter tells you not apply they'll represent you - say no thanks.
