Today we said good bye to our beautiful Daisy Patch Ophelia (Zena). While my head knows we had no choice my heart is breaking
After a short but very successful show career including Best Novice Hack at Sydney in her first year under saddle culminuating with winning the Crane trophy in 2013, Zena moved to the brood mare paddock. She did insist on being rugged and stabled ever night for many years and taught her babies to go into the stables at the first inkling of rain.
Zena will be remembered via her lovely babies especially the beautiful Daisy Patch New Orleans. There are 3 lovely fillies starting their Show careers in Victoria and S.A so Zena babies will continue her name Her last foal Daisy Patch New York is a yearling and we believe he too will just as stunning as his mother and his brother and sisters.
Our thanks to Dr Stephen and Melinda Mcintock for their care and compassion for Zena and us her human herd.

Great reason for celebrating at Daisy Patch today. The beautiful Daisy Patch New Orleans was sashed
Supreme Led Riding Pony at Menangle Park annual show in a strong field.

This lovely gelding is by Daisy Patch's resident stallion Rotherwood Spring Parade out of our Crane Trophy mare Daisy Patch Ophelia. Watch out for Zac as he continues his led show career

Beautiful day here at The Oaks. Sunny and warm - R Spring Parade is very happy out in his big paddock I think he believes spring has arrived and he would welcome the addition of some ares to talk to rather than the cows next door
