In the Pinpoint Talent office today we had some really fascinating discussions on DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) hosted by James Hare from Equality Group. With a full boardroom, some key take aways were discussed, including:
- Calling in rather than Calling out; ensuring your feedback when someone is unknowingly offensive, doesn’t feel called out, but rather they’re able to workshop how they communicate in the future
- Can we move away from the traditional form of Hiring Manager reading resumes?
- Can alternate forms of recruitment take place and garner exceptional talent
- How AI has refocus organisations requirements for skills rather than tasks
- How to consider candidate pools differently to attract more diverse talent
