Some of the toughest conversations don't happen on a worksite, in an office, or during a shift.
They happen when someone finally says, "I'm not doing okay."
Mental health matters, and looking after it is just as important as looking after physical health. Checking in with a mate, taking a break when you need it, speaking up when things feel overwhelming, or simply listening without judgement can make a real difference.
Remember that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness!

Let's just say the fundraising efforts were more impressive than some of our golf swings! 😆🏌️‍♀️⛳
Last Friday, some of our Recruitment and Traffic Control team members headed to the 2026 Local Government Charity Golf Day in Lismore for a fantastic day of networking, fundraising and a few rounds on the course.
There were a few impressive shots, a few wayward ones, but regardless everyone had a great time connecting with local community and supporting two important causes - Our Kids and the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service.
A big thank you to the organisers for putting on such a great event!

This month has been a month of milestone moments, and this week we're celebrating another special one as our Group Operations Manager, Andrew Egan, marks 16 years with Spinifex Recruiting.
Over the past 16 years, Andrew has played a significant role in the growth and success of our business. Currently leading both our Byron Bay Recruitment team and Traffic Control division, he's known for his ability to bring order to the busiest of days, tackle challenges head-on, and ensure things get done no matter what stands in the way.
Whether he's solving problems, guiding his team through challenges, or sharing a laugh along the way, his impact is felt across the entire business.
Reflecting on Andrew's milestone, our Managing Director, Scott C. Small shared:
"16 years working with Andrew? What strikes me most is his consistency. He always shows up with his game face on, no matter the challenge. He's the embodiment of adapting, overcoming and delivering. Well done mate on 16 great years. Thank you."
