Hi everyone! First of all would love to wish everyone a happy (and safe) holiday.

Thank you for your support; and joining the Networkd team. For those of you who don’t know us (yet) we’ve set out to build a digital hub for career professionals with access to free resources, affordable mentoring / webinars and much more!

While we’re still in our infancy; I’d love to share some of the wins we’ve made in our short term.

1) Created a fully functioning MVP; including mentoring software, job boards and resource library.

Making choices in your career (and life) is essential. It’s normal to feel conflicted, and often there isn’t a ‘right’ answer. It’s about making an informed choice, and then sticking to it. By staying motivated you live your choices without ‘regrets’. A great way of making informed choices is by bouncing your ideas off your mentor(s). Our service attempts to mitigate this by providing access to a pool of mentors to speak to discuss key issues and decisions.

Networking is a two way journey. They might have the answers; but show you care. It’s the simple things that help create a comfortable environment to have a discussion. Saying hi! Asking someone who they are, is incredibly important because it shows you care.

Research before an interview isn’t about spitting about buzzwords; it’s a way to show that you want to join the company for a reason. Demonstrate that you’ve done some research and you have found a project or a transaction; and why that’s interesting to you. For example, if a company has recently introduced an initiative to be carbon neutral; explain why that’s important to you
