We have a permanent requirement in Bahrain for a capable Technical Services Manager.
As a Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for the IT infrastructure platform systems and services used to support all business processes across the business.
The incumbent will plan, coordinate, direct and design IT-related activities, as well as provide administrative direction and support for the daily operational activities of the Technical Services Group.
As a member of the IT management team, the role contributes to the development and ex*****on of the Infrastructure & Operation strategy, and ensures its alignment with the business and IT strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success.
To be shortlisted, you should posses:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
- Card industry experience and working knowledge of the PCI DSS standard is desirable
- Strong IT operations and infrastructure acumen with proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development
- Technical background and extensive knowledge of data center operations, Hardware technology platform, Infrastructure Software, Operating Systems (Windows, Unix, and Linux), Storage, Backup & Archiving, Virtualization, and Disaster Recovery
- Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics including 99.995% availability
- Proven experience in leading IT infrastructure and operations team in complex and dynamic environments requiring 24/7 support
- Experienced and conversant in Service Level Agreements and Operational Schedules
- Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage internal/external resources to enhance capabilities that support business objectives.
