HORSHAM REGFEST 2026 POSTPONED TO 24 OCTOBER 2026

Horsham, Victoria β€” RegFest Australia today announces that Horsham RegFest 2026, originally scheduled for Saturday, 7 February 2026 at Horsham City Oval, has been postponed to Saturday, 24 October 2026.

This decision follows careful consideration of the current challenges impacting regional Victoria, including the ongoing effects of recent bushfires. Fire activity across the state has significantly affected communities, disrupted travel plans, and created uncertainty for ticket holders, artists, contractors, event organisers, local businesses, and potential attendees. These conditions, combined with lower than anticipated ticket sales, have made it difficult to proceed with the event as planned.

β€œWe are deeply committed to bringing Horsham RegFest to life, but the safety, wellbeing, and support of our community and artists must come first,” said a spokesperson for RegFest. β€œWith so many people directly and indirectly affected by the fires across Victoria, postponing the event was the most responsible decision to ensure we can deliver the best possible festival experience later in the year.”

What This Means for Ticket Holders

All existing tickets will automatically transfer to the new event date of Saturday, 24 October 2026.

Ticket holders who are unable to attend the new date may request a refund, ticket credit, or transfer to another RegFest event by contacting [email protected].

RegFest Australia and its partners sincerely thank the Horsham community and the broader country music audience for their understanding and continued support. The team looks forward to returning in October with a full-scale celebration of country music, food, entertainment, and community spirit.

Sitting down back at my desk today to prepare to get back to work next week to start another new year. My best to all for 2026. Stumbled on this link to what I was doing 40 years ago managing Dragon. Great days and a great band.

This is Dragon performing live at the Sydney Sports and Entertainment Centre on the 13th July, 1985. The Live Aid event was organised by Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for the Ethiopian famine disaster. Broadcast across the world via one of the largest satellite link-ups of all time - at that time, the concerts were seen by around 40% of the global population.

No overdubs here folks. 100% live. So good!

Missing my mates Marc and Alan from this line-up, and Paul and Robert from the Body And The Beat line-up one year earlier.

RIP chaps. β™₯
