Education Services Australia (ESA) is developing an F–10 Online Languages Hub as part of the Teacher Resource Hubs (TRH) program, similar to the ELLA website. The Hub aims to support language teachers across Australia by providing access to relevant teaching resources, programs and platforms.
ESA has engaged the Sydney Institute for Community Languages Education (SICLE) to conduct an environmental scan and gap analysis of the F–10 language learning landscape. This project will identify existing resources and initiatives, explore gaps and unmet needs, and make recommendations on how the proposed Languages Hub can best support teachers and school leaders.
As part of this project, SICLE is seeking feedback from language teachers and school leaders through three online consultation workshops. These sessions will provide an opportunity to hear about the work undertaken so far and contribute feedback to help inform the development of the Languages Hub.
