My Gateway is where aspiring apprentices and trainees start their careers and employers access expert help to find, employ and train the right apprentices and trainees for their business. Our role is to provide ongoing support to the apprentice, trainee and their host business from recruitment through to successful completion of their training. We do this by providing ongoing mentoring, support and advice to all parties.

While unicorn travel isn't part of the job description (yet), our team is constantly on the road supporting apprentices and host businesses every step of the way.

A huge congratulations to Breanna Rigney, who was named Apprentice of the Year at the NSW Training Awards for the Illawarra & South East NSW Region on Friday night.

Recognised for her Certificate III in Electrotechnology with host employer Heyday5, Breanna has consistently demonstrated dedication, resilience and a genuine passion for her trade throughout her apprenticeship journey.

This regional win now sees Breanna progress to the NSW State Finals, where she will represent the Illawarra & South East NSW Region alongside the state's top apprentices.

We're extremely proud to have supported Breanna throughout her journey and can't wait to see what she achieves next. Congratulations, Breanna, and best of luck at the State Finals! ⚡🏆
