Key Responsibilities:
• General warehouse duties including stock organisation, picking, packing, and inventory management
• Sometimes assisting with loading and unloading deliveries (when needed)
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Ad-hoc tasks as required by the team manager

Key Requirements:
• Previous experience in a warehouse or labouring role is a plus, but not essential
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical fitness (the role may require some lifting and moving of products)
• Excellent communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Own transport (a plus but not essential) or easy access to public transport (close to Kirrawee train station and street parking available)
• Occasional weekend work may be required

Store Person Opportunity:

Our Client comes from the Food Services Industry, Supplying Restaurants, Hotels, etc. Within the Sydney Metro Area.

They require an experienced Store Person to work in the Sutherland Shire.

The ideal candidate would be available for an immediate start.

To work 4.5 days a week Monday to Friday (8 hours a day and 4 hours on Fridays), the role has some lifting involved, general store duties, basic data entry and be trustworthy & honest to work unsupervised across multiple sites within the Shire.

Own Transport and forklift license is highly desired, but not essential.

The Casual Rate or pay is $35.95 per hour.

You must have steel cap shoes or gumboots, be prepared to wear gloves, hair and face nets, due to food industry standards.

Our client in Smithfield is seeking a highly motivated Control Room Operator to join their team. As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of their plant by adhering to operational procedures and handling work safely.

Responsibilities:
• Handle Control Room Operations as per procedures
• Oversee control desk consisting of HMI computer screens and manage any issues in a timely manner
• Be overall eyes and ears for plant operation, communicate with operators on the shop floor, 2IC & other relevant parties
• Gain awareness of system operating requirements, trends and suggest operating adjustments
• Effectively communicate with maintenance regarding any production related issues
• Participate in safety discussions, continuous improvement activities, self-initiated improvement projects
• Actively participate in SDWT (Self-Directed Working Team)
• Maintain highest standard of safety and housekeeping on site
• Oversee productions and process key metrics for operating plant machinery within parameters
• Complete shift logbooks, daily safety checks, workplace inspection reports and other tasks assigned with correct information

• Complete reports and ongoing administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner
• Attend training and actively participate in performance management as directed by management
• Communicate resource constraints and roadblocks in a timely manner to management

• Previous experience in a control room or production environment

Our client in Macquarie Park is looking for an experienced and dedicated Building Facilities All-Rounder. The role on offer is expected to last for 12 to 18 months.

We are looking for someone who loves dealing with people and helping with whatever is needed in a fast-paced office environment.

Working directly under the National Facilities Manager, you’ll have to be the person who can be trusted to be left to work unsupervised. This role is one for someone who can juggle 10 things at once while never saying no to any request for help.

We are not looking for someone who is only interested in a job for a month or 2. Nothing is ever guaranteed, but this is one of those roles that really can lead to a lot of other opportunities. This role will be treated as a Temp Assignment under the employ of Workplace People, but you really will be seen as one of the family on site.

Every day will be different and will include the following:

- Meeting contractors for both preventative and reactive maintenance in conjunction with the National Facilities Manager
- Investigation and some rectification of reported faults around the office; some such examples are replacing torn carpet tiles, unblocking a toilet, fixing a leaking tap, cleaning up small spills, setting up conference rooms for events
- Tidying up of kitchens and restocking supplies
- Clearing leaves outside the front of the building
- Moving small furniture items
- Ad hoc requests that will come via the National Facilities Manager
- Occasional coverage of the front desk (not taking phone calls)
