Some brands start agents on 50/50. Others move to 60/40, 70/30, even 80/20.
But here’s the real question: what are you actually getting in return for the piece you give away?
• Are you getting leads?
• Are you getting training?
• Are you getting the brand power to win listings?

If the answer is no, then the split doesn’t matter because you are giving away too much for too little.

Know your worth. The right split is the one that fuels your growth, not just your principal’s pocket.

If they think your home is overpriced they move on and your listing goes stale. Weeks later you are forced to reduce the price, and instead of creating competition you end up chasing buyers.
