We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Operator / Cable & Harness Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing organisation in Frenchs Forest.
This is a great opportunity to work with a growing manufacturer specialising in custom-built cable and interconnect assembly solutions, where precision, quality and teamwork matter.

🔧 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Assembling cables, harnesses and wiring products
Reading technical drawings, wiring schedules and schematics
Using hand tools and machinery for cable preparation and assembly
Performing soldering tasks (micro-soldering experience advantageous)
Completing production records and documentation
Following strict quality and safety standards
Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
Working collaboratively to meet production targets

✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Previous cable, harness or electrical assembly experience desirable
Manufacturing or production experience
Experience with crimping, cable stripping and cutting equipment
Soldering experience and familiarity with LF/RF cable assemblies
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good eyesight, with corrective lenses if required
Ability to distinguish colours accurately
Comfortable working in both seated and standing positions
Reliable, positive and willing to learn

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Optimal Workforce is currently recruiting 40 reliable Pickers & Packers for a major campaign with our client based in Brookvale.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent work from 11 November to 4 December 2026, with paid training and induction provided before commencement.
Training sessions will be conducted between 26 October and 4 November 2026.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS
☀️ Day Shift
Monday to Friday | 7:00am – 4:00pm
🌆 Afternoon Shift
Monday to Friday | 4:00pm – 9:00pm
📦 Saturday Shifts
14, 21 & 28 November | 7:00am – 5:00pm
Please note: Saturday shifts will be offered to members of the existing campaign team.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Picking customer orders using RF scanners
Packing customer orders accurately
Labelling and preparing orders for dispatch
Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Meeting productivity and quality standards
Following workplace health and safety procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Reliable and committed workers available for the campaign
Physically fit individuals comfortable being on their feet throughout the shift
Tech-savvy candidates comfortable using scanners and warehouse technology
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
Previous pick packing, warehouse or RF scanning experience highly regarded

PAID TRAINING & INDUCTION
Successful applicants must attend a paid induction and training program before the campaign begins. Training will take place between 26 October and 4 November 2026.
