When one of our team told us her dear friend’s 3-year-old daughter, Flo, was diagnosed with aggressive cancer, we collectively decided we needed to help. But her cancer, 𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐦𝐚 (𝐃𝐈𝐏𝐆), is a brain tumour that kills more Australian children each year than any other disease. Most die within a year of diagnosis.

The Keegan Adams Recruitment team are doing Tough Mudder Australia as part of the RUN DIPG fundraising drive and are supporting the and all children to help find a treatment.

Working Holiday Visa Update

Great News!

Home Affairs have announced they have extended the relaxation of conditions around Working Holiday visas.

The 6-month work limitations on working holiday visas will now be postponed until 1st of January 2023.

This change allows Working Holiday Makers (WHM’s) to work with any one employer for the duration of their visa without requesting permission, and any work that is carried out before 1 July 2023 will not be counted towards the 6-month limitation period. This means that from 1 July 2023 onwards, WHMs may work for any employer for up to an additional 6 months even if they worked for that same employer before 1 July 2023.

This applies to anyone in Australia who either holds any king of WHM visa, regardless of when they arrive, or holds a Bridging visa with condition 8547 imposed.

What better way to celebrate Melbourne Cup, than to watch the race right at Flemington racecourse in Melbourne!

At Keegan Adams, we pride ourselves on the way we celebrate success and recognise the contributions of our team. We wouldn't have had the successful year we have, without the hard-work and dedication of all of our employees, so to acknowledge this, we jumped on a plane, put on our best dresses (and suit), and enjoyed the Melbourne Cup festivities from the Birdcage.

Despite delayed flights, the wind, the rain and the cold, it was a fabulous day and an experience we will never forget.
