As TQ evolves, so do our values - shaping not only who we are, but how we show up for each other every day. This wasn’t just about words on a wall. It was about creating values we can genuinely live, breathe and action in our day-to-day work. This International Day of the Midwife, we want to recognise the absolutely incredible impact midwives have on individuals, families, and communities across Australia. From moments of immense joy to times of uncertainty, midwives are there offering care, guidance, advocacy, and their genuine, unwavering support. It’s a tough profession built on a lot of compassion, resilience, and deep human connection, and one that too often goes unrecognised for the critical role it plays in our healthcare system.

The 2026 theme, “One Million More Midwives,” is a powerful reminder that the world needs more of them. More skilled hands. More calm voices. More people choosing to stand beside others at some of life’s most vulnerable and transformative moments.

At Talent Quarter, we see the dedication that our midwives bring every day, and we’re really proud to support this community - not just by connecting them with opportunities, but by recognising their value across the healthcare sector.
