Your new role:

~ Coordinating the day-to-day workflow from the firm’s workflow system to ensure timely and streamlined communication, delivery, and billing of client work by our accountants.
~ Utilising data analysis to monitor and manage the end-to-end allocation, scheduling and completion of jobs to meet client expectations.
~ Conducting weekly workflow meetings with allocated accounting team members to ensure business operations are running smoothly.
~ Deliver weekly job reporting and analysis to key stakeholders – collaborating and communicating as needed to understand new and changing business operational priorities.
~ Working closely with team management and HR to proactively identify and resolve workflow issues as appropriate.
~ Maintaining accurate records of job status, with resource planning based on analysis and reporting of the workflow data.

Further to our announcement regarding the new 1 July employee eligibility test date for the JobKeeper Payment, the Australian Government passed the JobKeeper Extension Scheme through legislation on 1 September 2020.

The passing of this legislation brought with it changes and extensions to the JobKeeper provisions in the Fair Work Act, with extended provisions coming into place from 28 September 2020 and extending to the end of the scheme on 28 March 2021. The provisions introduce the “Legacy Employer,” which is further explained below.

The JobKeeper provisions in the Fair Work Act will continue to provide employers with the flexibility to manage their employees, dependent upon the effects that COVID-19 has had on their business in relation to turnover.

Under the new 1 July employee eligibility test date for the JobKeeper Payment, employers MUST provide the employee eligibility notice form(s) NOW to all new eligible employees that are now entitled to receive JobKeeper.

Further to our announcement last week regarding changes to the JobKeeper Payment Scheme, the Government passed the legislation last Friday meaning for JobKeeper fortnights starting from 3 August onwards, any employee who met the JobKeeper criteria as at 1 July 2020 can now receive the JobKeeper Payment.
