Our recruitment team reads a LOT of CVs. Here are 5 mistakes that get applications skipped:

❌ A 5-page CV. One to two pages is plenty.
❌ "Hardworking and God-fearing" with no actual skills listed. Show us what you can do!
❌ Your photo from Grade 6 graduation. A clear, recent photo works best.
❌ A generic application sent to every job. Tell us why THIS role.
❌ An email like "cutiepie_2003@..." A simple firstname.lastname works wonders.

Bonus tip: Mention any experience with Australian clients, property management tools or customer service. It stands out.

Australia just changed its clocks. ⏰

Daylight saving started in parts of Australia on 4 October, so time differences with Manila have shifted:

🕐 Sydney & Melbourne: 3 hours ahead of us
🕑 Brisbane: 2 hours ahead (Queensland doesn't do daylight saving!)
🕜 Adelaide: 2.5 hours ahead (yes, half an hour)
🕗 Perth: Same time as Manila. Kapitbahay lang pala.

The good news? Most Aussie working hours line up nicely with a normal PH daytime schedule. No need to live like a vampire.
