University of the Sunshine Coast Theatre, Australia UniSC Theatre showcases and promotes the work of UniSC Theatre and Performance Students.

UniSC's Theatre and Performance programme encourages our students to experience the thrill of live performance and guide them towards success as a performer, director, educator, or stage manager. They will explore traditional and contemporary approaches to voice and text and study elements of 20th-century theatre to learn how to captivate and hold an audience. Our students study theatre history, acting, directing and performance leadership, culminating in a fully realised original devised production. Each year the programme has a Theatre Season where students have the opportunity to collaborate with their peers on multiple productions and make an impact on the Sunshine Coast with regular public performances. Taught by national and international award-winning industry experts, the skills our students learn can be applied to a broad range of careers and industry sectors, including education, creative industries, communication, events management and more. THE WORLDS BETWEEN

An original production devised by the DRA301 company with music and sound by MUS203. Directed by Dr Hannah Banks with musical direction by Dr Briony Luttrell.

In the worlds between the very first beings were The Crones. The Matron was made from ash, the Mother from water, the Maiden from blood. They live in the in-between, the land of clouds. From scattered stardust they made this earth for all of humanity. The water, the land, the mountains and valleys. A world full of wonder and awe. But what happens when humanity stops looking after this world? When the forests burn and the oceans rise, what will the Crones do…

All performances are free and are in the K1.G.09 Performance Studio on the Sippy Downs campus. It is next to Carpark P6 and the Art Gallery.
