Reporting to the Site Manager, you will accept responsibility for the maintenance & reliability of a complex manufacturing site. This will entail minimizing maintenance costs and maintaining machine/line efficiencies; developing Preventative Maintenance and Condition Monitoring programs; managing capital projects implementation utilizing internal resources or Third Party project management groups; and supporting the introduction of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Ideally, you will possess tertiary or trade-based qualifications in an appropriate engineering discipline. You should have substantial maintenance management experience, ideally, gathered in the FMCG, food, beverage, or dairy sectors. Working knowledge of the Codes of Good Manufacturing, TPM, and Lean Methodologies is highly relevant. You must also have the interpersonal skills to lead & motivate a unionized maintenance team; as well as build a culture committed to safety and continuous improvement.
