The Chef Ambassador Inspires Students at Woodvale Secondary College

Our Chef Ambassador Kiren Mainwaring visited the Hospitality students at Woodvale Secondary College to share insights into the exciting world of professional cooking and the hospitality industry.

During the engaging session, students learned about the journey to becoming a professional chef, including the training, dedication, and creativity required to succeed in the industry. The Chef Ambassador discussed the realities of working in commercial kitchens, the importance of teamwork and communication, and the diverse career opportunities available within hospitality.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions about daily life as a chef, career pathways, apprenticeships, and the skills employers look for in aspiring hospitality professionals. The presentation provided valuable real-world perspectives and inspired students to consider future careers in the culinary arts.
