When he is not booking holidays... our MD Mitchell Tucker books Grand Finals.

This weekend, Mitch is making the pilgrimage east to the MCG to cheer on the mighty Fremantle Dockers as they chase AFL glory on the biggest stage of them all.

From the ports of WA to the heart of Melbourne, there's a fair chance half the purple army making the trip work in mining, logistics, construction, maritime and industry. In other words... our kind of people. 🚢⚓

At Mobilize, we're proud to support the hardworking workers who keep WA moving, and like every Dockers supporter this week, we'll be hoping the boys bring the cup home.

The cupcakes are for today. The question is for any day.

We marked R U OK?Day at Mobilize with a few cupcakes, coffee and a proper chat in the kitchen.

Mental health matters in every workplace. In resources and FIFO, long swings, demanding work and time away from family can take a real toll. It’s not always obvious when someone is struggling, which is why looking out for your workmates matters.

That care starts with our own team. We’re proud to be building a culture where our people feel able to bring their whole selves to work, speak up when things aren’t okay and know they’ll be met with genuine support.

If someone seems off, stop and ask, “R U OK?” Then properly listen to the answer. If they’re not okay, encourage action and keep checking in.

Bit of Good news for your Wednesday.

Stephen Good, one of our regular candidates, picked up mechanical best on ground on a Monadelphous shutdown.

He earned the award for taking initiative, keeping work fronts moving and showing strong hazard and safety awareness.

That’s what going above and beyond looks like on a shutdown: staying switched on, stepping up and helping keep the job moving safely.

The hours go somewhere. The delays go somewhere. It just lands in a dozen small places instead of one line on a budget, so nobody ever adds it up.
