Applications are now open for the Laboratory Technician SkillLaunch Program!

Delivered in partnership with SLB, this program offers Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants the opportunity to gain entry-level laboratory skills and kickstart a career in WA’s resources industry.

You will be employed with KMET - Koort Management Employment & Training while completing units tailored to the role of a Field Lab Specialist with SLB. Plus, tuition fees and related costs are covered, and you’ll receive a living allowance for the 10-week duration.

📅 Course dates: 20 April to 26 June 2026
🕒 Duration: 10 weeks | Monday to Thursday
📍 Location: South Metropolitan TAFE Fremantle campus
