Meet Belle, one of our amazing School Based Trainees (SBATs) at Lane Cove Aquatic Centre! 🌟

Alongside her traineeship, Belle is a busy Year 11 student who successfully balances her studies, traineeship, and high level basketball commitments. We asked Belle what advice she would give to students who are interested in the program but are concerned about managing the workload. Here's what she had to say:

"You have a consultant who helps you create a timetable, find a schedule that works for you, and stay organised. No matter what you need, your consultant is always there to support you and help you balance everything!" 🙌

At Leisure Employment Australia, we're committed to helping our trainees succeed both in and out of the workplace, making it possible to achieve their goals while gaining valuable industry experience.

🎉 Congratulations to Lara from Beerwah Aquatic Centre for her nomination for the QLD School Based Trainee of the Year Award! Hear what Lara had to say about her experience in the program:

“A key reason the Beerwah Aquatic Centre operates so smoothly is the strong team environment and effective communication between staff. When I began my traineeship, I didn't just gain a job and the opportunity to learn new skills, I became part of a close-knit team that supports each other.”

A fantastic reflection of teamwork, growth, and opportunity in action! 👏
