Ability can be taught. And at ACUG, we take the time to train all of our team members, starting with a comprehensive onboarding process and then on an ongoing basis. We are confident that our people are among the best in the business regarding ability.
But there’s something that you can’t train or teach.
And that’s attitude.
Ability is critical to doing the job, and attitude defines how well and quickly the job gets done.
Attitude results from two things: the outlook of the individual and the company culture. Our online induction process helps us identify people who naturally take pride in their work and want to do it well, no matter how large or small the job.
ACUG promotes a culture that ensures every team member understands that they are part of something bigger and that their contribution is essential.
We provide all ACUG team members uniforms to wear when on-site. Uniforms allow our customers to quickly identify ACUG team members and affect how our people see themselves. By identifying as part of the team, they naturally feel more professional, promoting pride in their work for us, you, and form themselves.
We also actively promote career progression within ACUG and with our customers where possible.
Career progression is critical to motivated people. By creating pathways and promoting opportunity for our people, we find that they are naturally more engaged and prepared to give that extra ten per cent that makes all the difference to our customers and sets ACUG apart.
We feel that clients benefit by encouraging and supporting an individual’s positive attitude. It also allows individuals to succeed and become the best version of themselves.
