We are currently seeking a licenced & experienced Industrial Maintenance Electricians for ongoing full-time positions in the Blacktown region.

We currently have 1x Dayshift & 1x Afternoon shift available.

Day shift - $46ph + super
Afternoon shift - $52ph + super

Based on an automated logistics site in the Blacktown region. Working with a leading international company.

You'll be required to undertake preventive & breakdown requirements across a range of automated systems such as conveyors, sorting machinery, etc.

This position will be a an immediate startthat will be an ongoing position, Monday to Friday
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Counterbalance and high reach forklift operations
Manual picking and packing of orders
Receiving and despatch duties
Loading and unloading trucks
Stock putaways
Pallet jack operations
General warehouse cleaning duties
To be successful in this role you must have the following:

Availability to commit to Monday - Friday
A current LF Forklift License with high reach experience
A high level of accuracy & attention to detail
A good level of written and spoken English
A hands-on and flexible "can do" attitude
Ability to multitask and take direction from numerous supervisors
Ability to prioritise work schedules to meet deadlines
The ability to work both unsupervised & in a team
Have your own PPE (Steel Cap Boots and High Visibility Shirt or Vest)
Have a good understanding of safety/WHS procedures

Appreciation Post this

Our Trades & Engineering division kicked off a decommissioning project today that really highlighted the commercial life cycle of a site.

Until recently the location was staffed by Momentum
technicians, and now that the site is moving, today our skilled project staff began swinging spanners to remove the infrastructure with another of our business partners.

Thanks to our Trades and Engineering staff for the legacy of great work you have left behind on our client and host sites. You can be proud of the work that you have all done and the many client life cycles you have been a part of as they have built up, grown and relocated.

Seeing Trades and Engineering divisions history in a site as it changes is always rewarding.

Congrats to the skilled and engineers that worked on the Australia First roll-out of new automated passenger luggage conveyors for us last week!

Currently our Techs, Fitters and TA's are working across 3 states on project work in roles paying great rates above award!

Momentum's specialist teams made up the majority of the workforce on these projects and they continue to rollout.

Thanks to the our engineering clients and business partners!

1st year apprentice required!

As a result of our client’s continued growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to undertake a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade as an Apprentice Mould Setter/Fitter within their Artarmon based team.

This four-year apprenticeship will involve working with a variety of workshop machinery, you’ll get on the job experience and learn in-depth how to undertake a range of tasks such as maintenance, calibrating, setting, operating, working from technical drawings, etc.

Tasks:
• Repairs & Maintenance of elastomer tooling
• Set, strip and maintain moulds
• Working from drawings
• Assist with production of elastomer products
• Operating overhead cranes, welders, mould machines, etc.
• Welding repairs as required

Requirements:
• Committed to completing a 4-year apprenticeship
• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Willingness to learn and work in a team
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
• Completed Pre-Apprenticeship (Advantageous not required)

NATHAN GREMMO’S DONATION STORY
On Thursday April 30th, 2015 the Gremmo family’s life changed forever when their eldest child Nathan, aged 13 was critically injured while crossing the road. Despite an off-duty paramedic and policewoman rushing to assist and a Care Flight trauma team and paramedics arriving shortly after, his injuries were too severe and Nathan had unfortunately passed the next day in hospital.

Generous and loving to the end, Nathan Gremmo became an organ donor, his last and most amazing gift was to save the lives of six people – including five young adults and a baby. Hours before his passing he wrote on his Instagram account, “You only live once but if you do it right once is enough”. Wise beyond his years, he definitely was an extraordinary young man. Nathan is described by his father Michael, mother Kylie and sisters Ashley and Annaliese as “a boy with a unique sense of humour, a love for animals and insatiable energy for life.”

We continue to support & promote awareness for various causes and charities, always an awesome effort by the Momentum team!
