Meet Rhys!

Rhys knows the automotive industry inside and out, because he started exactly where many of our apprentices begin.

Beginning his career as an apprentice with Apprenticeships Are Us at Porsche Centre Parramatta, Rhys has worked across a range of industries including automotive, automated entrances, heavy vehicle and crane repairs, and real estate.

Today, Rhys supports apprentices and host employers across Greater Sydney, helping young people build successful careers in the automotive industry while supporting businesses to grow their workforce.

When he's not visiting apprentices or supporting hosts, you'll usually find him on the soccer field or working on his Volkswagen.

The ARU crew were at Sydney Dragway yesterday for the NPRA Sydney Crash Days Shoot Out! 🏁

It was great to be part of an event that brings together some of Australia’s toughest street cars, passionate racers and automotive enthusiasts.

A great first day on the tools!

Our Queensland AEM, Rob Borg, recently visited Henry on his first day at Kool House of Rover, where he has commenced his Light Vehicle Apprenticeship.

At Apprenticeships Are Us, we're committed to supporting apprentices from day one through to qualification. Through regular mentoring and workplace visits, we work closely with both apprentices and host employers to help create successful outcomes and rewarding careers.

Welcome, Melissa! 🔧

We're excited to welcome Melissa, who is preparing to commence her Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology with BYD, completing her training through Kangan Institute.

From the moment we met Melissa, it was clear she was passionate about gaining a trade qualification and building a career in the automotive industry. Throughout her apprenticeship journey, Melissa will be supported by Apprentice Employment Manager Jamie, who will provide ongoing mentoring and guidance every step of the way.
