Today is the national day of action where we check in on people and ask them "R U OK?". It's important to let the people in your life know that no matter how they feel or what they are going through they will always be supported and valued.
If they seem more agitated or withdrawn, by starting that conversation you are helping them take the first step towards seeking appropriate treatment.

The Victorian Ambulance Union supports all the great work this organisation does in this area. For further information and resources on how to have those conversations please visit the RUOK website: https://www.ruok.org.au/triple-ok

Plenty of support today for our National Patient Transport (NPT) members as they head towards industrial action.

NPT are one of the biggest patient transport ambulance providers in Australia. They are offering ambos 0.05% above what the award requires them to pay.

The members are ready for a fight and have recruited over 100 additional union members. Industrial action starts on Friday and they wont be backing down!
