THE POSITION:

Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking multiple highly professional and presentable technicians to join our field services team. We are looking for technicians to install, test, and service 9-volt battery powered smoke detectors in residential properties, as well as checking corded window coverings are secured properly. The successful applicant will work in and around Melbourne, as well as regional Victoria, so willingness to travel and a love of driving is a must!

The night before each workday, you will receive a schedule on your phone that will assist you in managing appointments for the next day. You will start your day from home to your first appointment, whilst utilising an app to record your process.

No two days will ever be the same! Each inspection can vary between 10-30 minutes to ensure a property is safe and compliant, whilst travel time between appointments can vary between 15-60 minutes.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Present professionally, be well-spoken, and self-driven to work in a fast-paced environment
- Be familiar with using modern technology such as tablets & applications

About the role:

With a fast growing team to maintain our high levels of service, we currently have multiple opportunities available for Electricians across Melbourne. Positions are full time on a permanent basis providing job security throughout the pandemic.

As a DI electrician, you will be conducting full safety inspections to ensure all electrical appliances at our clients’ property are safe and compliant, this involves:

- Fixing minor faults in the switchboard
- Replacing faulty power points and light switches
- Recording work on a smart phone using our market leading innovative mobile app.

What you’ll bring to the role:

This position is open to all ages and expertise. Experience in residential properties preferred but not essential. Safety first, Compliance second, you want to be highly motivated to ensure our clients safety is always at the highest priority. Our fast-paced work environment needs you to communicate well with our office and be able to work in a team helping out your work colleagues when required.

Key attributes:

- Professional presentation, punctual and reliable
- Customer focus / interaction with tenants / good communication skills
- Highly motivated and strong work ethic
- Ability to take direction, follow procedures and use initiative when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Hold a Victorian Electrician’s A Grade Licence
- Familiar with smartphones and smart phone applications
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
- Current knowledge of AS3000
